Description: American Cherry has a straight grain and fine texture. The sapwood is pinkish while the heartwood is reddish-brown to deep red, with brown flecks and some gum pockets.
Sizes available: 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 8/4
Mechanical Properties: Janka side hardness about 950. Moderately stable.
Working Properties: Works well with hand and machine tooling. Glues well.
Uses: Hardwood flooring, furniture, pattern making, turnery.
