REFRIGERATOR  ROLL  DOUGH

 

 

¾  Cup Hot Water

 

½  Cup Sugar

 

1 Tablespoon Salt

 

¼  Cup Shortening

 

1 Cup Warm (not hot) Water

 

1 Egg Beaten

 

5 ¼  Cups All Purpose Flour

 

2 Packs Yeast

 

 

Combine hot water,  sugar,  salt, and shortening.  Cool to lukewarm.  Sprinkle

 

Yeast over warm water in a large bowl;  stir until dissolved.  Stir in lukewarm

 

Mixture.  Add egg and 2 ½ cups of the flour;  beat until smooth.  Stir in

 

Remaining flour and beat 1 minute.. Dough will be soft.  Place dough in greased

 

Bowl;  Cover tightly with waxed paper or aluminum foil.  Store in refrigerator

 

Until doubled in bulk.  Make rolls and place them in a well greased pan. 

 

Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
