MITCH’S WEST TEXAS FRIED VENISON

 

 

 

2 lbs. Bite sized venison

 

flour seasoned with salt and pepper

 

10 slices of bacon

 

1 stick celery, chopped

 

½ medium onion, chopped

 

1 teaspoon Worchestershire sauce

 

1 can diced tomatoes

 

 

 

Coat Venison in seasoned flour. Fry bacon and remove.  Crumble bacon.  Fry

 

venison in bacon grease.  Add remaining ingredients and cook covered for two

 

hours in oven,  set at 350 degrees.  May add a little water if it gets too thick.

 

 

Serve over cooked wide egg noodles.
